in working with the medicinal wild flowers and plants.
She will take you out in the country side (3 to 4 hour)
and teach you which ones you can use for your own home
remedies and cosmetics. She will point out which plant/
and which part of the plant is best to harvest at the
particular season. This is a unique way of walking and
experiencing Pender Island.

Elder Mechuskosees (Phil L'Hirondelle) has blessed
the Sweat Lodge and the Medicine Wheel here at the
Sun Raven Lodge. When ever his busy schedule allows,
he visits this sacred places to share his ceremonies
and teachings.
With special permition from Phil L'Hirondelle, Chris
Poellein and Louise Gallant are offering these ceremonies
on a regular base.
